Electric Mint Revival

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Muddler
  • Strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 teaspoon L-Theanine powder about 100mg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ceremonial grade matcha
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 oz sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Mint sprig for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a shaker or jar, muddle mint leaves with lime juice and honey until fragrant and the mint is bruised but not shredded.
  • Add L-Theanine powder and matcha. Stir to dissolve completely.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and serve with a reusable straw.

Notes

Consume within 10 minutes for best carbonation. The matcha will settle, which is fine. Just stir before each sip. Contains approximately 30mg caffeine from matcha.
